Consistency and originality are one of the fundamental words to use when describing Ewube. Dancehall was a vacuum section of the music industry in Cameroon until she stepped into the scene.
People always question and anticipate her next release but it’s always topnotch. From “Party All Nyte” the dancehall queen has always been on the vertical ladder, spreading her musical tentacles to all directions, collaborating with upcoming and five star artists in the country as well as getting nominations for her hard work. After the release of her latest club banger “Pop It” the queen release another show-stopper “Choleh Me”.
Choleh Me is a native slang used by Anglophone Cameroonians as another way of ignoring an act, person or situation. In “Choleh Me”, Ewube is telling us how to ignore our haters, those who choose to see only the evil in us, who want to paint a dark image of us and deny to see the good maybe because we are better than them. Produced by the ultimate Magic Fingaz and written and performed by the Ewube, the audio was release by her label “Omega Records” in January 2017. The video, scripted by the talented Adah Akenji, is packed filled with amazing dance moves.
A full Hip-Hop dancehall costume and setting, amazing lighting and as usual, a brilliant performance by Ewube. The video was shot in Yaounde and it’s only right that we share the final piece with you as Ewube is on her way to Canal D’or. Please watch, share, and comment and don’t forget to vote for her by sending Ewube (AGUF5) to 8800201 or call.
