Event: Missy BK first Five students at the Foundation

It hasn’t been that long since the Cameroonian afro pop singer and songwriter Missy BK lunched her foundation and provided educational support to 5 orphans that included merit-based scholarships, annual tuition fees, uniforms, and food and learning materials.

This basic support will allow these motivated orphans to immediately access higher and quality education and will as well set them on a track for success.
Without relenting her efforts, Missy BK is still on a mission to put a spark of hope and happiness in the hearts of 38 abandoned children and orphans in Cameroon by organizing a Christmas party to be help on the 21st of December 2014 at HOTPEC [ Hephzibah handicapped and orphanage training production and ecstasy center –P.O box 598, Buea, lower bokova, south west region, Cameroon .

“During this time of the year, many orphans and abandoned children sometimes forget there exist a day like Christmas. Christmas is not only a time that is filled with much celebration and festivities, but also a time we most deeply feel the significance of family in our lives but what happens to orphans during this time of the year? Do they really know it is Christmas? The Missy BK foundation whose mission is to enrich the lives of the less privileged ones with a spark of hope , decided to organize A Christmas party for 38 orphans and abandoned children living under the Helping hands orphanage in Bamenda and Hotpec orphanage based in South west Region of Cameroon. During this charity event, each child will receive a tangible Christmas gift donated by the Missy BK foundation and well – wishers. The objective of the program is to enable these less privileged children and orphans share in the joy and blessing of Christmas by giving them something to let them know that someone somewhere loves and cares for them just the way they are” she tild the kfm reporter

To spice up the event, the Missy Bk invited one of Cameroons upcoming artist
Damien Blue Arts an afro jazz singer with an impressive curriculum both as a studio and performing artist. His deep acoustic melodies and soft voice can truly awaken your senses with his African tales.

Damien will perform songs like “Dream” and his hit song “ Angale” a song encouraging the youths to take responsibility on social ills, he just returned from a national tour with music live band where he passed on his massage to thousands of people.
